Ultrasound

Hazleton Imaging offers state-of-the-art ultrasound technology.
Using “sound” in order to “see” better? It may seem unusual, but ultrasound is one of the ways the doctors at Hazleton Imaging Center can see inside your body and even watch your internal organs working in real-time on a video screen.

Ultrasound is a painless medical imaging technique that uses high frequency sound waves and their echoes to produce images of the inside of your body. This helps detect changes in the appearance and function of organs, tissues, or abnormal masses such as tumors. It is a safe technique requiring no radiation. Ultrasound is used in many fields of medicine, such as Women’s Imaging which includes breast ultrasound, obstetric, and gynecologic imaging.

What sets Hazleton Imaging apart from other facilities is Hazleton Imaging is accredited by the American College of Radiology for having met the highest standards in facility equipment and personnel in breast imaging, abdomen, pelvis and OB/GYN studies. They have been evaluated by a group of Medical Physicists and Radiologists who are experts in their field.
